The staff and trustees at the Norwood Public Library wish a Happy New Year to all of our wonderful patrons! As Leo Tolstoy stated, we have been working hard to implement
new plans that provide money saving and exciting initiatives:

  • We are happy to announce that we will be sending only ONE fundraising letter
this year. This will allow all of
us to save on the printing and postage costs of a
    second mailing.

  • You will now be able to save a stamp by donating electronically to Norwood Public Library. Please use the secure link to PayPal on this page.

  • We hope you like our redesigned website! You can now register online for our programs and events and receive a reminder email. Look for future surveys, resources and tools as we continue to evolve our offerings.

  • See your savings. Every time you check out an item, the “receipt” will show a tally of the money you have saved by borrowing from the library system. Watch how much money you save and enjoy the space on your bookshelves.

  • We have refreshed and revitalized our book selections – offering everything from the NY Times best sellers – to your favorite classics.

  • We have added over 600 email addresses to our mailing list – allowing us to get the word out about our programs and events more cost effectively.

  • We have had a positive response to our new library hours which have brought in many new patrons.

  • We continue to offer many enriching programs from Book Talks for adults and children, health consultations with a registered nurse, a knitting and crocheting
club, monthly classic movie screenings and our very successful weekly ESL conversational class.

Be sure to give us your email address to receive our monthly blast of offerings. Please consider a donation the Norwood Public Library. We are proud to say that Norwood Public Library is YOUR library.
